The Role

We have multiple opportunities for Speech Pathologists for in-clinic roles in Pymble as well as hybrid roles across Sydney & Melbourne, to cater to our evolving and expanding business.

We are looking to fill both graduate and senior positions. Graduates will be nurtured and mentored to accelerate their career growth and build confidence.

Duties

  • Assessing, diagnosing and providing evidence-based intervention for a variety of clients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Utilising case history, assessment results and clinical observations to develop and review treatment goals and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of clients (infants, children, adolescents and adults).
  • Communicate information and support to families regarding therapy strategies and techniques.
  • Monitoring client progress by keeping detailed, up-to-date progress notes and client records and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Writing assessment reports, funding reports, referral letters.
  • Collaborate with clients extended care team & support networks to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Liase with other clinicians and wider team to share learnings, best practices and develop, innovate and refine care plans that aim to promote the best outcomes for clients and their families.
  • Engaging in training and development

Skills & Experience

  • Graduate or postgraduate qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia Membership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great time management and organisational skills.
  • Empathetic, caring and able to establish and build rapport with clients, their families and support networks.
